My teachers
Even in math, I have many teachers. All of them were (are) very understanding. I really appreciate their support and advice.
Professor Takayoshi Mitsui (1929-1997) wrote some text books of analytic number theory in Japanese, one of which had an effect on my master thesis “The Goldbach problem in algebraic number fields”. I remember his gentlemanly behavior and kind advice.
Professor Yoshihiko Yamamoto (1941-2004) was my first supervisor, when I was an undergraduate student of Osaka University. He taught me experimental and computational approaches in the study of number theory.
Prof. Y. Motohashi is a great leader for analytic number theorists in Japan. Kindly he lectured me Kuznetsov’s trace formula in his office on Ochanomizu campus of Nihon University.
Prof. N. Kurokawa was the committee chair in my doctoral dissertation. He and Prof. K. Kato introduced, not just me, many graduate school students at that time to the world of zeta functions.
Prof. S. Mizumoto was my supervisor in doctor course of Tokyo institute of technology. I have learned the theory of modular forms from him. I still cherish his handwritten lecture note even now.
Prof. T. Harase was my supervisor in master course. He accepted me as a master course student of Titech.
Prof. N. Hirata-Kohno was also my supervisor in master course of Titech. She is my benefactor in math.
Prof. M. Katsurada is my research collaborator. We conduct joint research on multiple Eisenstein series from 2007.
